People of all ages, from young children through senior adults, are encouraged to participate in choral and (as God provides!) iinstrumental groups. Whether it is young boys and girls learning about their place in God's world, or youth and adults serving as worship leaders, there is an opportunity for all through the music ministry. Contact Pastor Jim with any questions. Below are weekly practice times:

Using skits, plays, musicals and other drama sources, we will present the gospel in a variety of ways to hone people's relationship with God. Our most recent original musical drama, written by Ramona Magan, was "Your Light Has Come" in the Christmas season of 2015. We typically present a major drama every other year and we anticipate that we will do one during December, 2017. If you would be interested in participating in either the choir or drama during this coming year's presentation, please see Pastor Jim!
There are many purposes for the Music and Dramatic Arts Ministry. Some of our most important ones are listed below: to glorify God to encourage and edify the church to present the message of salvation to serve as a companion to the ministry of the preaching of God's Word to develop our skills.
It has been a few years since the presentation of "A Baby Changes Everything" , but you may like to see some of our work on the Villa Heights Baptist Church YouTube Channel.
We are currently expanding the technical teams that are involved in the support of our Worship ministries. If you have an interest or a past experience in audio systems, photography, video recording, Computer Programs (such as PowerPoint or Pro Presenter) or web development, please let us know and we'll find a place to use your talents and abilities!
